Maya Moody Photography specializes in Maternity Shoots, Newborn Sessions, Children's Photography and Family Portraits. She also shoots Small Weddings, Special Events and Celebrations such as Birthday Parties, Proms and Graduations. Maya Moody Photography serves the greater Chicago Land area and travels frequently to New York.

The one thing that you can expect from your portrait session is for your family's personality and individuality to show through. The location could be your home, a favorite park, the lakefront, the city streets or Maya's home studio which is steps away from the beauty of Washington Park. Maya can also recommend a variety of other locations throughout the city. Sessions are custom designed to encourage everyone involved to be themselves. I love capturing children in their natural environments, therefore the session is more like a playdate for them. Posing is minimal, and I rarely ask them to smile either.
